Preggo Pic's!

My sweet sister-in-law and fellow photographer, Stepha, asked me if I wouldn't mind being her subject for a maternity series. We are going to do a couple more sessions to document the growing belly and then one after little Dane is born. She did a great job and I'm very impressed with her talent. It was a lot of fun and I'm excited to do some more. I'm also hoping that this will help me stay motivated to work out and not gain as much weight as I did with Megan. I love that we both have this hobby in common and gives us a reason to get together and "play". Thanks again Stepha!

P.S. I finally feel connected to the world again. My computer has been slowly dying since January. Apparently the media card was going bad and it officially died on Friday. Fortunately, I already had moved all my pictures and files to my external hard drive because I needed the space to install some new photo editing software. I'm excited to reinstall them and actually use them!

Even numbers!

I had my ultrasound this morning and found out that we are having a healthy baby boy! I've been excited all weekend about it and had a small feeling that it might be a boy, but not 100% sure. I love going to the second trimester ultrasound, it's magical for me. It's when it really hits me that there is a baby inside me. I instantly fall in love with that little face, even though it kind of looks like an alien still. It helps me to bond with the baby too once I know if it's a boy a girl. We're very confident that we are going to name him Dane. Eric is VERY excited and I've already been to the mall to get a few little boy shirts. Now I'm just dying to get to the fabric store to start a blanket. I waited too long to do Megan's and it was in pieces all over my family room floor when I had to be induced. My aunt and sister actually finished it for me. So, let the baby planning madness begin!
