For the 4th of July weekend, we went to the Bay Area for the Taylor Family Reunion. We have one every other year. Most of the family was able to attend and it was really fun to see everyone, especially my brother and sister. It's always nice to visit home and see old friends. The trip started off a little rough with a late night flight (that was 45 minutes delayed) and Megan not sleeping as much as we'd hoped. On top of that, my license fell out of my pocket somewhere along our flight to California and I almost wasn't able to get on the plane to come home. I made it though and when I got home there was a message on our machine from the guy who found it and put it in the mail for me. (It arrived yesterday, yay!) The trip did get better and I took Megan to the waterpark where my dad lives. She was a little freaked out at first, but then she loved it. I timed it so we left while we were still having fun and before any melt-downs occured. It's also my sister's birthday on July 5th, so I get to be with her every other year on her birthday. We had an afternoon flight on the way home to Utah and Megan did SOOOO much better, thanks to Baby Einstein. Megan loves the Baby McDonald DVD and says animal noises instead of real words. Overall, it was a great trip and Megan did so well and slept through the night every night. We were able to do quite a bit in the short time we were there, and of course, I took lots of pictures.

Eric playing with the Wii for the first time - I kicked his butt at bowling!

Megan and my cousin's dog, Jack. Megan LOVES dogs and I had to keep her from following Jack in the pool all weekend.

America never tasted so good!
What's the 4th of July without a BBQ?! BTW - My sister is a vegitarian, hence, the freaked out face.

Fireworks are by far my favorite part of the 4th!

We went to San Francisco for my sister's birthday.

I've heard that people don't get enough hugs each day. This guy is trying to fix that.

Jill, the sassy birthday girl.
